Dragon Mode Privacy Policy

This policy describes Dragon Mode's iPhone app and its optional Plus upgrade.

Information stored on your device

Dragon Mode stores the records you enter or import: balances, movements, recurring costs, goals, debts, manually tracked investments, notes and preferences. It also stores import source rows, mappings, reconciliation receipts, story and collection progress in its on-device vault. No Dragon Mode account or bank credentials are required.

Collection and sharing

The app does not send your vault to the developer and includes no advertising, analytics, tracking or cloud-sync service. Release market-data retrieval is disabled. It does not sell your financial records or share them with advertisers. Dragon Mode cannot initiate or execute financial transactions.

App Store purchases

Apple processes the optional one-time Plus purchase. Dragon Mode uses StoreKit to request product information and check verified purchase ownership, including restoration and revocation. Purchase checks communicate with Apple; they do not send your financial vault. The developer does not receive payment-card details and operates no purchase-validation server. Apple's handling of App Store information is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Files, backups and deletion

Statement files and backup files are read when you select them. JSON exports include your vault and imported source information, so treat them as sensitive. Exports are not encrypted by Dragon Mode; protection depends on where you save them. Copies saved to Files, iCloud Drive or another provider are governed by your choices and that provider. Resetting the app does not delete exported copies.

Start fresh at zero removes the app's current records after confirmation. Deleting the app may remove its local data. Device backups may retain copies according to your iOS backup settings. Purchase history is managed by Apple independently of the local vault.

Notifications and other permissions

Local notifications are optional. Their text excludes balances, amounts, merchants and imported rows. File access is limited to files you choose. The app does not request bank logins, contacts, location, microphone, camera or tracking permission.

Support and external links

If you email support, the developer receives the contact information and content you send and uses it to answer your request. Avoid sending financial records. External educational or support links open websites with their own privacy practices. These public pages are hosted with GitHub Pages; the hosting provider may process standard web request information.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated if the app's data practices change. For questions or requests concerning support correspondence, email alexanderzmackay@gmail.com. The developer cannot access or remotely erase your on-device vault.
